Who are we?
We are a student-run company based in Calgary, Alberta. We make effective and durable phone holders that are built to improve your organization. Hold the Phone is a Junior Achievement company, but you can learn more about that by scrolling down! We are fully run online, with a team of 25.

We support the Brown Bagging for Kids charity. 15% of our profits will go towards ensuring that families across Calgary have enough food to provide for them. Did you know? More than 2/3 schools in Calgary receive a lunch from BB4K? This results in about 4,700 lunches everyday.

The finance department manages and tracks and holds the phone's funds. They create every financial document to ensure proper record keeping.
Our marketing team manages our social media accounts to give Hold the Phone an active online presence. They work to create posts and find any opportunity to get our name out and find sales.

The Production department tracks inventory, and the production and distribution of our phone holders. They ensure these processes are efficient, while also maintaining a high standard of quality, so our company can jump straight into sales

In Health and Safety, they aim to maintain the well-being of all our employees during the times of COVID-19 by creating a safe environment for products to be made and distributed efficiently. We have done this by creating safe shipping plans and a COVID-19 checklist that all employees can use to ensure they are asymptomatic.
Our Human Resources team strives to create a safe and positive work environment through weekly team-building activities, employee awards, and more.

What is Junior Achievement?
Junior Achievement vows to "Inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy." They are the largest NGO dedicated to helping young individuals learn about business. Hold the phone is part of their Company Program, which gathers high school students together to develop a company from scratch. This includes electing executives, creating financial documents, and many other business practices. We are part of the Junior Achievement South Alberta group, though Junior Achievement is present in over 100 countries globally. 15% of our profits also support Junior Achievement.
